Loving everything rustic and country.

Just to Say Gifts & Flowers is a small, rural independent business offering top quality beautiful flowers for all occasions. All our flowers are natural and free of artifical colours and additives.

Dalmellington Is nestled in amongst the hills on the gateway to the Galloway hills in Ayrshire.  It  is named the ‘village in the stars’ as the Scottish Dark Sky Observatory is just down the road at Loch Doon on the A713 Castle Douglas to Ayr tourist route.

In the shop you'll find gifts of jewellery, candles, scarves, handbags and much more for those times of celebration.

All our handties from £25 and over have a little taste of Scotland attached such as a Scottish sweetie.  We also have beautiful grab & go flowers dressed in a box for £15. Anne or Lesley will list all of the flowers in your handtie so if you love it you can request it again.

We give weddings our personal touch and we pride ourselves in listening to what our customers would like and help them to bring their vision to reality.

Sympathy & funeral flowers need a sensitive and caring approach at the most difficult times and we will be there at the times our customer needs us.

We just love doing our workshops as they are small classes with brilliant banter.  Look out for them on our facebook page.

The shop has supported Butterfly Events a charity supporting Cancer Research, for many years and will continue to raise money for this worthy cause.  The shop also now raise funds for RSABI a charity close to Anne's countryside roots.

Meet the Team

Anne & Lesley are both country girls at heart and love all things natural, country and rustic.   Lesley a farmer’s wife with a young family and Anne a farmer’s daughter with her kids all grown up enjoy the ups with the downs the stressful times and the fun times but seeing our customers faces light up when they see the flowers makes it all worthwhile especially on Mothers Day.

Our Little helper is Heather, Anne’s daughter and youngest who helps when we send out an SOS and under pressure as she is at University studying to be a nurse.  Alena works at the weekends at the shop in Dalmellington and  is planning to head off to University to study Art

Our handyman and delivery driver Derek is on hand and at our beck and call thats because he is Anne’s hubby.

Hazel is based at the Gift Shed at the Coo Shed (South Corton Farm, Ayr) and may sometimes pop up at the shop in Dalmellington.

AND not forgetting our little shop dog, Jess - the apple of Anne’s eye who just loves a wee jaunt in the car when delivering flowers.

Being trained in floristry is only the first step - its all to do with your style. Every florist has their own unique style in design and this is what attracts customers to you.

Anne and Lesley's styles compliment each other in bringing our customers to Just to Say.  Our customers come first and customer service and customer satisfaction is right up there as one of the most important things when running a business.
