DALMELLINGTON & THE DOON VALLEY

Dalmellington is in the Doon Valley, 15 miles from the main town of Ayr.  The village is  surrounded by beautiful landscapes ideal for hill climbing, walking and horse riding.

The area is rich in history. It has its  roots in the coal mining industry, as well as an ongoing important farming community. Read more about the history of the Doon Valley.

It is situated on the A713, on the main tourist route south to Dumfries and Galloway and close to Loch Doon, a stunning area of undoubted natural beauty.

All our flower bouquets are named after local areas of Dalmellington.

Blackstone Clydesdales

The Blackstone centre was established to secure a way to care for our growing Scottish rare breed family, to give you a chance to experience the Clydesdale horse magic, learn about their lives on the farm and witness first hand these magnificent animals, so the Clydesdale Experience was born.

Gift Vouchers can be bought by visiting www.blackstoneclydesdales.co.uk. You can also request a horse and cart for your wedding.
